The free checked baggage allowance on SpiceJet international flights w.e.f 1st May 2017 is as follows.

Kindly Note – With effect from 12th June’17 check-in baggage detail for MLE-TRV is given below:

With effect from 10th August’17 check-in baggage detail for TRV-MLE is given below:

TRV-MLE 25 Kgs INR 500

Above given rate for MLE-TRV will be effective till 31st March’18

Kindly Note – With effect from 2nd Jan to 5th Feb’18, revised FBA on Boeing flights of MAA-CMB-MAA sectors is as follows

MAA-CMB 40 Kgs INR 660
CMB-MAA 40 Kgs LKR 1560

The currency in which the excess baggage would be charged would be the local currency of the country of departure e.g.- if a Passenger is boarding a flight from India then the applicable charge would be in Indian Rupees (INR) and if the origin country is Sri Lanka then the charges would be in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
